TThe SCSA would like to congratulate the Medal of Valor recipients for 2008-2009.   They are:

  • Officer Steven Bright  -  Cherokee County
  • Lt. Gerald Spencer  -  Cherokee County
  • Officer Brian Mullinax  -  Cherokee County
  • Master Deputy Dan Acord  -  Greenville County
  • Deputy Brad Griffin  -  Greenville County
  • Deputy Brian Osborne  -  Greenville County
  • Deputy David Whitlock  -  Greenville County
  • Sergeant Eric Alligood  -  Greenville County
  • Deputy Randall Norris  -  Greenville County
  • Deputy Jesse Wasserman  -  Greenville County
  • Deputy Luke Wilkinson  -  Greenville County
  • Sergeant Joseph Lane  -  Sumter County

These heroes were honored for their unwavery bravery and commitment to the safety of the public on Thursday, January 14, 2010.  Each received a Medal of Valor Award given by their sheriff before an audience of sheriffs and family.  Please  join us in thanking these men for their dedication and courage.
